This was the old fireplace here having the pure white mantle, it has all been decided to renovated with pallet wood, to do so first the old mantle has been removed!

Remove the old fireplace mantle using hammer and other tools you feel necessary to it safely and neatly! Just gain the wall area as flat as it was before the fireplace mantle!

Bottom panel has also been removed and a new pallet-made one has been installed, say bye to all roughness of wooden surfaces just by going with a little sanding and hand gritting process, use electrical sanders for quick results!

Now cover the whole fireplace wall with underlay paper and start a little pallet wall paneling using straight but trimmed down pallet lengths! Start from bottom to top for better results!

After wood paneling of whole selected wall area, just add the accent wooden borders, also around the fireplace inlay! Now install a fireplace mantle or shelf and also cover up the bottom with wooden pallet-made tiles!

Organize your decors over bottom and also over the top mantle level and enjoy the rustic version of fireplace, would blend in beautifully to modern living room ambiance! Here picture frames, a piece of wall clock and candle lights with artistic stands or holder have been used as fireplace decors!
